What if I don’t know the exact details of the equipment being hired eg Make / Model / Serial Number?

If you don’t know the precise details then in the 'Make' field select 'unknown' from the drop down list; in the 'Serial / Registration Number' field type 'To Be Confirmed'; in the 'Type of Machinery' field type a generic description eg '3 tonne Excavator'.

What if the job takes longer than expected and I need to extend the Period of Cover?

Unfortunately, if you have had to hire the item for longer then you will need to purchase a new policy for the additional days. If the hire company is delayed collecting the item and has asked you to extend the policy, then please contact us.

How quickly will I received the paperwork?

They are emailed to you within minutes of buying the policy.

Where can I get a summary of the Cover provided or Policy Document?

These are emailed to you after you have bought the policy. If you want to see them beforehand, please click here.

Is the cover available for Private Individuals as well as Businesses?

Yes, it is available to all

I’m not great on a Computer – can I buy a policy by phone?

Sorry, this is an online only policy but it’s a really quick and easy process.

What is the Maximum Value of equipment I can insure under this policy?
